During the Lenten Season, St. Pius V Church will host the International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, beatified October 10, 2020. Before his death in 2006 at age 15, Carlo designed a presentation of over 130 Eucharistic miracles approved by the Church. Beginning Ash Wednesday, February 17, the church will be open daily from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm so you can see a portion of this exhibition. The last day to see the display is Palm Sunday, March 28.
While you won't be able to take an ornament from the Jesse Tree this year you can still give hope and joy to some families and seniors! We are collecting gift cards in $10 increments from the following stores: Walmart, Target, CVS, and Walgreens. Please note that the last day for donations is December 20th.
A Rosary Congress is taking place in the Diocese of Providence from Saturday, October 3rd, through Friday, October 9th. Seven parishes thought the diocese are represented during this time of Perpetual Adoration which is centered around the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary (October 7). St. Pius V will host perpetual Adoration beginning at 9 am, Thursday, October 8, and continuing until Friday morning at 9 am.
Saturday, June 13th there will be an all day Training Session/Retreat for those interested in leading sessions on Ignatian Spirituality. Professors from Providence College present a series on the Church and [the topic of their choice!]. Held on Tuesday evenings in the SPV Church Hall at 7pm.
St. Pius V parish is again offering the Called & Gifted Program but this time it will consist of five 2-hour programs held on Tuesdays beginning on April 23rd from 7-9 pm in the church hall. A fee of $15.00 will cover the cost of the books. Come discern your gifts and realize how God has blessed you!
